a true story from dave kp:
"I just received my info packet from Washington University, one of the
many schools I am considering for transfer, but this is not the
interesting part. The interesting part is that when I requested the
info packet via their web form, in the Name field they had a pull down
menu. You could choose either "Mr", "Mrs", or "Rev". In the
Additional Comments field I politely, perhaps even enthusiastically
explained that I am a minister of the Universal
Life Church (and a genuine Pope), and that they, too, could be
come minsters by following the URL I gave them.
I can't say I wasn't suprised, but I was disappointed that there was
no form of acknowledgement of this fact in the packet... not even a
flyer about religious services on campus or anything!
P.S. Everyone in my dorm hall is now a minister thanks to yours
truly."
